Rouda Bahzad graduated with an LLB Honours degree from Newcastle University in 2011, followed by an LLM in International Commercial Law from Cardiff University in 2014.
She specialises in domestic and international litigation and arbitration, and corporate and commercial matters. She has a particular interest in ADR, and is certified as a commercial mediator by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in London.
Before establishing her own firm, Rouda spent a number of years as legal counsel at Qatar Foundation. In this role, she undertook a range of contentious and non-contentious work, and was a member of the tendering committee and also a member of the dispute resolution committee. As a result, she understands the interplay between legal practice and business, and appreciates what in-house lawyers need from their external advisors.
She continued accumulating experience in various sectors of law both abroad and at home, striving to distinguish herself through dedication, perseverance and a proven track record of professional successes.
Following in the footsteps of her uncle, Bahzad Y.M Bahzad, the second attorney in the State of Qatar, Rouda Bahzad has proven to be worthy of the honored name she carries. She has vowed to continue a legacy of excellence and to produce an outstanding, modernized perception in the legal field by offering international standard legal services to the local industry.
